The Canine Remote Deployment System (CRDS) is intended to be used for Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) purposes. The system allows a USAR dog to deliver a package to a person who may be trapped under rubble. The package is specially designed bag mounted underneath the dog called the "under dog." and can be deploy by the main release mechanism via remote, controlled by the canine handler.
